Working on my presentation for selling my latest work.

I am Charles W. Gill, and I grew up in Levittown, PA, about 40 miles from Sellersville, where my movie project, "The Daughter of the Evening finds her Son of the Morning," is set. I am a graduate of Kent State University and studied Pastoral Studies at Loyola University of Chicago.

This idea started with a simple idea. The wife was watching Hallmark and I told her it was all sappy pieces of crap. She told me I could not write a screenplay that was not a parody. I said I could, and…

More work on my script Daughter of the Evening Finds her Son of the Morning

I was able to improve my script. The old Script had Ernest L. Thayer’s “Mighty Casey at the Bat," as the paradigm for a Philly's/Cubs game. I asked myself if it was really necessary to relate a game at all. Dropping the play by play allowed me to make the concluding scene my heart wrenching, and at the same time comical. I hope I can find someone who knows more about script writing to see what I have and give more ideas. I really think I have a story that says something about the human…

Growing Up in Levittown, Again

I have several novels available at Amazon.com, for Kindle purchase. One of these is, "Growing Up in Levittown, Again. This novel starts with the Kennedy Assassination as seen from the eyes of a little girl standing in Dealey Plaza. The next scene is a group of adults who would have been around 8 years old on November 22, 1963 as they discuss how the world would have been different had Kennedy had lived. One of these adults is Molly Maguire McGill, named after the Molly Maguires.

The…

Working on my movie Script Project

I am working on my movie script project, "Beth Erev: Daughter of the Evening ."

This project started with a simple idea. The wife was watching Hallmark and I told her it was all sappy pieces of crap. She told me I could not write a screenplay that was not a parody. I said I could, and using the working title, “Sappy Piece of Crap.” She said, “Dare you.” I thought about the challenge for a while and remembered how I come from Bucks County PA, near Quaker Country. The Quaker make…

The Cure...

I’m happy to announce that I will be scoring the upcoming satirical short film, The Cure. The Cure is a fun, fast-paced look at a group of inept survivors in the Zombie Apocalypse. It has all the exciting elements of a zombie movie with a few hilarious twists mixed in as well.

This will be a fun and exciting project, and the music should reflect that as well. The music will include typical orchestration mixed with more modern elements of electronics and…
