- Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television Production - Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne Australia. Screenwriter and Director. Three feature screenplays ("Prey" is my third), numerous short films and music videos.
My preferred genres are Action-Adventure, Science-Fiction and Horror, but I also like to combine elements of mystery, or fantasy, with these genres. I am frequently inspired by history, science and popular culture, and my goal is to write stories that are exciting and fun, but also reveal fascinating truths about the world we live in.
My film experience ranges from writing through to production and post-production. I began making films with Super 8 at age 11 and entered film school at 19. With my film degree, I returned to Sydney and worked on commercials, TV series and feature films, as an assistant in production, whilst writing spec screenplays.
During this time I also wrote and directed several short films and developed my first two screenplays with independent Australian producers.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, I interned with film companies, reading scripts and writing coverage.
I have worked for Larger Than Life Productions as an assistant and gained valuable insight into the development process.
I am currently developing two other feature screenplays and directed two short films in 2008.
