Vienna! How fantastic. I'm hoping to get back to Europe next year.
I'm doing well. Had a supporting role in "The Fourth Kind" and that opened this weekend so it has been really fun with all of that. Went with a huge group of friends on Friday to see it.
What were you working on in Vienna?
seen youve done a lot of work in Moscow! Now that I'm in the U.S. I am looking to get started doing some acting/singing work here although it is difficult not knowing many people and trying to work on my English :( Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions to help me out! I appreciate it!
Paul,
I don't think it's a matter of getting beyond whats on the surface.. Even drama Passion of The Christ lingered over the gore of violence with unnecessary "passion"..! No matter how noble your vehicle is, if you are trying to get an audience by exploiting very basic instincts in very basic people it has very little to do with art and has much to do with quick "getting there" by any means..
Sash,
I'm no particular fan or horror myself. Every pitch I've given for In Paris Dark has been that it's more of a situation in life story than a vampire story, that being- "what would one truly do if they lived forever?" I also bullet the concept as: 'Vampire as artist'. If you're able to get beyond the vampire vehicle it may still bear some value. If not, I can only respect...
Thanks for your reply! Paul
I have been working on a film in Michigan, so sorry it took so long to write...How are you doing in New York? Any thoughts of filming in Michigan while the new incentive is in place?
