I started writing comedy sketches for the BBC, and gravitated towards writing screenplays on spec to develop my craft. After writing for BBC GLASGOW’S comedy unit I left the BBC to pursue a freelance career as a screenwriter.

I was recently commissioned to write a Sit-Com pilot “FLIPPED” for an L.A producer and also a 60’s comedy drama “CRUNCHERS” for UK producer MELVYN SINGER. Before that I spent 18 months working for the Aramid Capital FILM FUND providing script reading and analysis on recent feature scripts such as THE WRESTLER, HURT LOCKER, FRANKLYN, and Terry Gilliam’s THE IMAGINARIUM OF DR PARNASSUS. I have recently been hired to work on a slate of 10 films as Script Editor for Roger King of the INTERNATIONAL GROUP in the UK

Over the last three years I have been focussing on writing my own screenplays, a selection of which are listed below.
