"Big, big thanks to my DP, Benjamin J Zimbric. He is a master cameraman, and a fantastic editor to boot. Anyone who can make Brighton Beach look this beautiful is a genius. Seriously."

We are looking for an AC to come on board. Here is a little information about the project. In a world where dreams and memories collide, two old lovers find themselves together again. Over the course of their time in this new world, they will return to old memories, visit places the once called home, and try to make amends for the death and anguish that followed them while they were alive. Took my old friend, the Q TRAIN, out to Brighton Beach Saturday morning. Really liked the area. Great beach. The Boardwalk was a lot less crazy than it was when in Coney Island. The beaches are not too far apart from each other, but you do sense a difference. Brighton Beach is mainly filled up with Russian restaurants. It lacks the same amusements and Vaudvillian attractions as Coney.Brighton is also WAY cleaner. The sand is clear of bottles and glass and all the other nonsense that plagues…See More

Killing Women, by Marisa Wegryzn
www.kllingwomen.com
Killing Women is a raucous comic exploration of the ironies and insanities of corporate America where even professional assassins are fighting for their benefits. When Abby, a star on the rise, is simultaneously denied a promotion and asked to kill another woman, tempers flare, guns fire and out comes a life-or-death game of Monopoly. Killing Women asks what happens when a woman is not taken seriously, but she is given a gun.

How's It Coming Along

What has happened, so far:

Met with Sound Mixer yesterday. He's very much into it.

Emailed possible male lead. He has conflict with the date. Is it worth changing? Not sure yet.

Meeting with female lead on Sunday. Make sure she is on board.

DP sent some great notes on the piece. I sent more back. Think this dialogue is working out well.

Another DP wanted 1,000/day. I said, "Um, no."

Questions:

How much am I willing to…

Fourth of July

Maybe it was watching my niece and nephew wave around those sparklers. Maybe it was tossing the kids around in the pool, pretending I'm a monster. Or dodging the illegal bottle rockets, no idea where they may land. Maybe it was making sure my nephew was Ok just after he fell down. Or it was the slurpees, the music going, the BBQ, or the laying out in the evening sky. Whatever it was, last weekend was a very special time for me.

I mention these moments because they will stick…

A good project could be to seek why kimakaze pilots would always wore helments? something like a pondering type film. Why is it that frozen lemonaid contains artificial ingrediants while lemon dish soap has real lemon contents?
