I lived in LA for eleven years where I worked with some of the best in the world. A short list includes Alphonso Johnson, Ndugu Chancler, Tony Dumas, Greg Poree, Ralph Penland, Octavio Bailly and Michael Bluestein to name a few. I opened up for Chuck Mangione there and Bob Dorough in Ohio. I live in Ohio now where I am closer to family. Since I moved home I received attention from Grand Vista Records in Nashville, was selected to perform at Chick Singer Night in Milwaukee and am a final contestant to perform in the resurrected Lilith Fair Tour. Placed 66 out of 800 and am still in the hunt to perform on the tour. Was also selected to have an original tune placed on a compilation CD through Acousticfuel.com. I also wrote and recorded the theme song called So This Is Love for a sitcom on the web of the same name. It can be heard and seen on YouTube. In LA I played The Four Seasons, Il Moro, Chaya, The Ritz Carlton to name a few and in Ohio I play Jazz 28, Rudy's Pub and then there's The Philmore in Fort Wayne,IN.
Active Projects
I am currently finishing my second Jazz Album called Chasing Dreams and my first original pop album called Free As A Dove.
Dreams & Goals
To hear myself played on radion stations across the country and the world and to also be touring internationally.

Hi Maria, I wish you the best with your music. If you go to www.mangostudios.co.nr you can listen to snippets of songs from my EP. I was recently in Nashville and joined ASCAP, as well as sat in on a "pitch" session. There were three songwriters, one music publisher, and a rep from ASCAP. We each were allowed to play one song from our CD. Boom, boom, boom. It was impossible to do a perfect song of course, but we all tried. Then the "judges" critqued them. I swear the guy next to me, John Martin, had a number one song. They said, "yeah, rework it and maybe...maybe...." Take care! Denis (yes, with one 'n').
