http://www.microfilmmaker.com/Editorials/edit50.htmlFinally, new sites like GuerillaScript.com are taking the low-budget film concepts that MFM has preached for years and trying to make a way to get scripts out to filmmakers in all budget ranges. This can be a huge boon to the low-budget filmmaker who would prefer not to have to write the script himself. Never before has the low-budget filmmaker had the ability to gain access to…See More

GUERILLAscript.com, a new website for screenwriters, melds the connectivity of a social network site with the functionality of a script uploading and management service.

GUERILLAscript.com is a newly formed and free social network site that gives unsolicited screenwriters without representation a chance to showcase their work within a safe, protected environment.
Projects Currently In Development (Title, Film/Television, Status, Budget)
On the website, writers have complete control over their work and who can read their script. The process is simple: Writers create a free account and upload a script (with a tagline, synopsis, and pertinent information crucial to the project). Agents, producers or directors searching for a script embark on a search on the website using specific search criteria. If a project matching their requirements is found, they have access to only the tagline and synopsis of a project. If they would like to review the complete script, an inquiry is sent to the screenwriter. The screenwriter can then accept, deny and/or reply to the request. If an inquiry is accepted, scripts are only readable (no downloading, printing or copying). As an added safety feature, all communication between agent/producer/director and screenwriter is recorded.
Dreams & Goals
Writers can utilize the site to feature and shop their projects, while agents, producers and directors can browse the site to find the scripts and projects they are looking for.
“Screenwriters like myself are no strangers to the hardships writers have to deal with in order to break into Hollywood,” said GUERILLAscript.com founder and CEO, Ron Moon. “So I have created a platform for unknown but talented writers to get their scripts seen by industry professionals through the use of practical online social networking tools.”
