Gordon S. Williams

Since establishing G Sharp Productions in 1996, the award winning writer, producer, and director Gordon S. Williams has completed several multi-award winning independent film projects including The Story of Marcus and Reyna, The Greater Ambition, Gemini, and Do You.

Along with his success with G Sharp Productions, the former Black Entertainment Television intern has garnered more accolades producing award winning television programs, commercials, and documentaries for Lamar University Television Productions. In 2009, he was selected as a CUSH Magazine Honoree for his Outstanding Achievement in Media/Broadcasting.

In 2010, Gordon has had the opportunity to broaden his horizons. Williams has served as on-camera talent for television commercials and has ventured into sports production as a producer for Lamar Video, Lamar University Athletics video department. During the summer of 2011, Gordon was the unit production manager for Homebound, an independent feature film directed by up-and-coming director Fanny Velez.

Williams completed his sixth independent short film project titled Not Like The Commercials that we wrote and co-produced. Also during the summer of 2012, he directed ten episodes of Southeast Texas’ first and only family game show, Family Knows Best.

Williams is the vice-president for the Southeast Texas Association of Black Journalists and the Television Studio Operations Manager at Lamar University.
