Hi, I'm Emily, and I'm a recent emerging artist in the beautiful city of Portland! Though I have only lived here about 8 months I am already creating quite a name for myself! It is an exciting time in my life in which I am writing and polishing up songs to be on my first full length record, "Here's A Letter". (More about that later!)
In the past I've only been able to record a short 4 song EP in 2005 entitled "Water Year". The power of those four recorded songs overwhelmed me (and apparently others). I had no idea that such a simple EP would spread like it has. It has gotten me shows and connections with artists I have always loved; artists like Phil Wickham, The Myriad, Levi Weaver, A Dream Too Late, Kat Jones, Anderson, Logan Martin, The Blackstones, The Harps, and so many more!
Now my focus is on continuing the momentum my first CD has built by exposing my NEW work to as many people as possible by placing it in film soundtracks, commercials, radio adds, etc. The new music has not been released yet, so it is brand new, and up for grabs.
