(March 2010) David Michael Waszak, CEO and President of Metro Detroit's Premier Special Effects and Film Production Company, Northern F/X Productions,LLC. and his longtime partners, Jason Teichner (Partner/Producer/Finance), Matt Weng (Partner/Producer), James Nikolic (Technician), George Pogacich (Producer/DP/Editor), Brent Bateman (Vice President/Writer) and Jeremy Haney (Lead FX Artist) have aquired Quad City Pictures, LLC.out of Studio City California.

Pre-Production has already started on two of our features. We will also be producing a feature that lenses in Hollywood in 2010 for a Major Indie Studio. David and his team at Northern F/X Productions,LLC. have now formed The Northern Entertainment Group, LLC which will oversee all production and will be building a new 33-Acre Motion Picture Studio in Warren, MI Big Metro Studios. The studio is set to start construction in 2010 with a completion of early 2011. A second Studio in Shadow Hills, CA just outside of Burbank will be built in 2012, part of the studio system, Big Metro Studios,LLC.

After surviving major emergency surgey at St. Joes in Burbank, David went on to do his acting debut in Comedy Central's "It's Bill" with acting legend (Achorman, Still Standing) David Keochner, from Director Donick Cary (The Simpsons, Just Shoot Me). Currently, he and his associates are in post-production on a feature comedy he Executive Produced called Twixter. With a 2010 theatrical summer release from SONY PICTURES, Twixter is a surefire hit! They are in pre-production on their follow-up comedy feature, Seniors: The Movie, which is being optioned as a National Lampoons release, is slated for a 2012 theatrical release.

WE are seeking funds of 25.5 mllion for a new 3-D film that has Lady GaGa, Burt Reynolds, Kelly Rowland and Avril Levine, We are also seeking funds for the next film, a world disaster horror film in the vein of 28 Days Later and Diary of the Dead called Descention from director and friend David Tybor.
