Chip Miller started his career as an Audio Visual Assistant for “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” British comedy series on BBC TV. He worked with star John Cleese & director Terry Gilliam. Later, as part of folk duo, Reynolds and Miller, he toured with Seals & Crofts and Paul Simon - who produced their album on Vanguard. With the rock band, Pomeroy, he toured with Yes, Jefferson Starship, and The Ramones. He produced songs for Eric Anderson, “HAIR” star Sally Eaton, UK actress Susan George, Olivia Newton-John, The Commodores, Young MC, Trini Lopez, ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro, The Young Irish Tenors, Michelle Phillips (The Mamas & The Papas), and folk rock band, Old Sand Mill’s all-star debut CD, “The World is Getting Colder.” Miller is lead singer/songwriter & guitarist for this critically-hailed album, with guest performances by Brian Wilson; Jerry Douglas (Alison Krauss & Union Station); r&b legend Deniece Williams; Darryl Jones (The Rolling Stones); Punch Brothers); Earle Mankey (Concrete Blonde); Rick Boston (Low Pop Suicide) & the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra. Miller also music supervised the feature films, “The Importance of Being Ernest," "Four Day Shoot," Sebastian Gutierrez’s "Swerve," and UK cult film, "Mortuary Academy." He has produced music for PBS’s “Rhythm of the Dance,” a TV special of Irish Dance, Music & Song, which he directed on location in Ireland. He created compositions for Disney's "The Sun Show," a weekly children’s TV series. Miller wrote numerous popular TV Jingles and is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter & indie film producer at Desert C.A.M. Studios, a successful film & video production & post-prod facility in Indian Wells & at WB studios in Burbank. Miller has produced several indie feature films, directed & produced over 200 music videos for MTV Europe, VH-1, BET & CMT, for artists like Marc Anthony, The Rolling Stones, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LL Cool J, The Black Crowes, Peter Murphy, Trini Lopez, Faith Evans, Charlie Wilson, Alison Krauss, Sheryl Crow, Beastie Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Rod Stewart & Earl Scruggs.

As Director/Screenwriter & indie Producer, Miller created "Mortuary Academy" with Paul Bartel, Wolfman Jack & Christopher Atkins; "Square Dance" with Wynona Ryder, Jason Robards, and Rob Lowe; and the upcoming 2015/2016 films, "Loudmouth: The Morton Downey, Jr. Story" with Steve Buscemi; "California Dreaming: Making of The Mamas and The Papas Story),” "Harlem", a TV mini-series for BET, and "The Devil’s Camp,” co-written with Oscar winner, Liam Neeson. He is also developing film projects with actor Nicolas Cage, “Be Bop A Lula,” a biopic on 50’s rockabilly icon, Gene Vincent; and “The Freak,” an authorized biopic on late psychic, Edgar Cayce.

Miller directed national PBS Live Concert television specials with artists such as, Brian Wilson (with Al Jardine) for his “Live Pet Sounds” tour; Donovan at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, with David Lynch and Laura Dern; Diahann Carroll and 48-piece orchestra from the Annenberg; Marc Anthony in Puerto Rico; The Texas Tenors in Austin; The Young Irish Tenors in Ireland, and two “Rhythm of the Dance” specials. In 2017, he directed three new PBS TV Specials: “The Kingston Trio: An All-Star Celebration,” with original Trio founder and sole survivor, Bob Shane, and special guests, Al Jardine (The Beach Boys), Timothy B. Schmit (The Eagles), Barry McGuire (New Christy Minstrels, Josh Reynolds, Trini Lopez, The Limeliters, Henry Diltz, and Sana Christian; "The Kingston Trio Holiday Cheers" Christmas special; and "Songcatchers: The Gathering" with Mary Youngblood, Jana Mashonee, Tony Redhouse, and Thirza Defoe.

A former professional illustrator and widely-exhibited artist, one of Miller’s paintings was on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institute for 15 years. He is a graduate of Manhattan’s School of Visual Arts, and King’s College in England.

Three PBS TV Specials in rotation: "The Kingston Trio Celebration," an all-star concert tribute, starring Timothy B. Schmit of The Eagles, Al Jardine of The Beach Boys, Barry McGuire (New Christy Minstrels), The Limeliters, Henry Diltz (Modern Folk Quartet), Trini Lopez, Josh Reynolds, and legendary Trio founder and sole survivor, Bob Shane; "Rhythm of the Dance," shot on location throughout Ireland and starring The National Dance Academy of Ireland and The Young Irish Tenors; and the recently aired 2017 Christmas special, "The Kingston Trio Holiday Cheers" shot in Tulsa, now to be an annual holiday program.  Check with your local PBS and Public TV affiliates.
