A JUNKIE LOVESTORY
A Junkie Love Story is a dark romantic drama that charts the convergence of two
desperately needy people. Hope, an insecure drug-addicted nurse, dreams of
living a normal life like her grandmother; but trauma from her past is too close for
comfort.

She then meets Blue, a junkie with a secret he wants left far behind. He knows
there is no forgiveness for some things, so he moves to Hollywood, the land of
dreams, with one purpose only: to stay loaded and die.

When the two meet, there is an instant connection. Like the drugs that control
their lives, love seems to get a grip on them. Though they fight against it,
circumstances keep throwing them together. Fate, it would seem, has its own
plan.
Despite their habits, addictions, and character flaws, both ultimately love each
other more than themselves. But love may not be enough.

When they can no longer maintain their habits, Hope has to confront her dark
past as a way to survive. Her stepfather, who has his own dangerous motives,
begins to disrupt their relationship. Demons from the past now stem to the
surface.

They must struggle against their growing addiction, their histories, and the
manipulations all around them, to find new dreams within the gritty underworld
they inhabit.

Will they find that love can conquer all, or will they fall from grace yet again? Can
their co-dependency transform into a healthy relationship when normal is so far
out of reach? How much pressure from a dark world does it take to break true
love? These lovers will find out.

Amber Dawn Lee is a screenwriter and actress. As a child her family moved around giving Amber Dawn a colorful life which she now uses in her work. Most of her roles are beautiful, dark troubled characters saved by love. Amber Dawn is mentored by Greg Brooker and Terry Rossio.

Amber Dawn Lee was featured in Creative Screenwriting magazine as a writer whose screenplays are "raw and full of heart." Greg Brooker said "Amber Lee has an innate instinct to understand drama and she put's it on the page beautifully."

Two of her screenplays Mockstar and Children of the West were quarter finalists in the AAA screen writing competition. Amber created her own production company Movie Junkies Productions in 2007, and has produced and acted in several of her own projects which were designed specifically for her.

Amber studies acting under the influence of Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, and has performed in theatre both regional and around Hollywood. She has the ability to unzip audiences through acting.

Amber supported her acting career through modeling and has been featured in Triangles swimwear commercials, and various other billboards nationwide. Amber tested for Playboy in 2007 but after acceptance pulled her pictorial due to her agent's guidance.

She was raised Mormon, and she was also adopted as a baby after her biological mother robbed a bank. Her biological brother Thomas Robison died at the age of 32. Amber has written a musical, several plays, and several screenplays. Her main love is acting and comedy. Amber is also sober, and does not drink at all.

Amber has acted in several horror films, and is a scream queen.
