Hi, my production company is looking for low-budget but creative feature films scripts. Any genre, but we definitely like thrillers/crime/sci-fi/action/. This must be a film that can be done on a low-budget with limited characters, locations, etc. We really want great writers, original voices, and innovative scripts that can be done for a reasonable budget. I am the co-writer for Watkins Entertainment's new TV show entitled 'WANNABE ME', a comedy spoof on HOLLYWOOD. The in process website can be seen at http://www.wannabeme.tv where the trailer and behind the scenes videos, interviews and other exciting information is available for your pleasure. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on 15 January 2009 then at the Beverly Hills Film Festival on April Fool's Day 2009.
The 30 minute short film MY ANGEL, MY HERO, a very touching story of a child with Parkinson's Disease where dance becomes a major part of the young lad's life is now in the final post production in N.Y.C. I was the e-mail co-writer of this with Faizan Sheikh who was co-director on the film with Dan Shor.
In August 2009, I received a DVD copy of 'His Perfect Pick Up Line' from director Tana Huggins of this short film which I wrote as part of OTT two minute film festival.
On Friday the 31st. of July 2009, I wrote a short screenplay for producer/director Branislav 'Bruno' Tatalovic as our entry into the Cleveland 48 hour film competition. I used the internet and the telephone throughout the night as I am currently in Los Angeles and he is in Cleveland. My short screenplay 'CHRISTMAS CONFESSIONS' was completed on 13 June 2009 by Kirsty Dua at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, in Chislehurst, Kent, U.K. From students my only request is a DVD copy of the film, screenwriting credit and that they promise to aid students when they are a success.
In early 2009, I completed a thriller feature screenplay for Bruno Tatalovic following his recent completion of his last year at The Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman College in Orange County. The tentative title is 'THE BUTTERFLY'. This will be filmed in his native country Serbia in the summer of 2010 and is based upon one of their folklore tales.
Bruno has also made another of my short screenplays 'I'LL GET YOU HARRY' which took second place in the student film maker/short film category at The Indie Gathering http://www.theindiegathering.com/2008.htm The film was made by him when studying cinema in Cleveland prior to moving to California. I am the co-writer of the currently available feature film 'A VIKING SAGA, SON OF THOR' which received a double win at First Take Film Festival, Augusta, Georgia as WINNER for Best Independent Filmmaker and for Best Musical Score. It also took FIRST in the foreign film category at the Washougal International Film Festival http://www.washougalfilmfest.org/pdf/2008WINNERS.pdf The film has been released nationwide and is available on DVD.
My short screenplays THE AD MARKET and DEJECTED HUSTLER have just been optioned and are to be made in Scotland in 2010.
I have completed an assignment for the most unique feature Mafia movie ever to be made entitled 'ANGEL ADONA' which is currently available for production.
'BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS' a short screenplay is now in student pre-production for 2010.
I sold the short screenplay 'BARNEY'S WISH' to Showbiz Shorts, LLC for 2010 production.
'A LITTLE BIT OF DISCIPLINE' is a short, first place, award winning screenplay in the Boulder Asian Film Festival. It was then filmed in Powell, Wyoming and Boulder, Colorado by producer/director Alan O'Hashi in 2006. It can be seen on http://www.boulderasianmovies.org/ for your entertainment.
'THE BAD GUY SPEAKS' is a short screenplay produced by Workshed pictures. It was completed in 2005 by Director Branislav 'Bruno' Tatalovic in Cleveland, Ohio. It had it's European premier held at Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival 2006.
'LAND OF SHADOWS' is a short screenplay, student production completed in 2005 at the New York University by director Patrick Tashadian.
I currently remain in Los Angeles to continue marketing my many feature and short screenplays available in all genres and budgets as well as to write for production companies.

Low budget is single location, few performers except for an occasional EXTRAS scene. I do have a wonderful house in which to film a number of my single location films. Some of my low budgets do have two or three locations.
Sorry, I do not have the beach site for the extreme low budget three performers PEARLS OF WISDOM.

Hi my name is franklin write and I wrote several of shorts and a couple screenplays I have a sci fi horror entilted The Forest of Nowhere a story about a good family that was murdered on their land 1926 they rose eighty years later and hunted the land. I am a published writer. My first book, “Mama Squad” (see synopsis), a comic novel, was published by BeachHouse Books but has sold only about 80 copies so far. I have also written a treatment and a feature-length film script (registered with the WGA) for this book. In addition to looking for a producer who will make my book into a feature film, I am now looking for a larger publisher who will re-issue and publicize my book so that I can earn some money from it.

ENCLOSURE: Synopsis of “Mama Squad”
SYNOPSIS OF BOOK & FEATURE-FILM SCRIPT, “MAMA SQUAD” “Mama Squad” is a 176-page comic novel (it has been developed into a 122-page feature-film script and registered with the WGA; a treatment is also available). In his quite dramatic and very humorous recruitment speech, reminiscent of General Patton, delivered at the Sunnyside Home for Retired Ladies, a re-tired Army Sergeant and the main character, Raymond Arnold Waldo, recruits some elderly women for an irregular and unorthodox military unit he names the Mama Squad. Sergeant Waldo (also called Sergeant RAW) tells the ladies (later called “mamas”) “Hey, mama, you think you’re too old to fight those commies, mommy? The Mama Squad wants you. When it comes to fighting dirty, ain’t no body can do it like a feisty old broad. We need ‘em.” Sergeant Waldo promises to train the mamas in the things they already know and to use those tactics against the enemy. He urges the ladies to “hit ‘em with your purses upside the headrun ‘em down with shopping cartslet ‘em have it with hat pins and rolling pins.” While listening to the sergeant’s speech, the ladies imagine themselves in various types of action. Images from these revelries are juxtaposed against those of real warfare. When Sergeant Waldo even guarantees a place for those in wheelchairs in the new mama squad, one lady imagines herself in a wheelchair, with machine guns mounted on its arms and blazing away at the enemy.And what self-respecting mama-to-be could resist the many benefits that the sergeant promises: free uniforms, medical care, and bingo on post every Tuesday?And be the first mama to sign up, red hot mommies killing commies, that is, and you “get your own personalized bazookaafter you finish with the commies, you can use it against the young punks in your own neighborhood.” After training the mamas, Sergeant Waldo leads them on a mission to rescue some captured Americans held by a tinhorn and very anti-American dictator. To create a diversion for the escape, one of the mamas consumes an entire can of beans and then uses her own natural gas to cause an explosion and set the enemy fort on fire. Another mama uses her bra as a slingshot to fire rock-hard biscuits at the pursing enemy.The script is packed with other comic images and dialog but contains enough pathos and drama to keep the story interesting and exciting.
