WHAT: All roles available. Please bring a photo and resume. Be prepared to deliver a 2 minute dramatic reading of your choice and to read from the script. This is for a live reading (of the full play) to be performed at:

READING: Wed. August 17th, at 8:00 (4 days after audition).

There will be 2 full rehearsals:

~ Sun. Aug 14th (2-4 P.M.; location t/b/a), and

~ Tue. Aug. 16th (2-4 P.M.; location t/b/a).

A commitment to doing these two rehearsals (as well as the performance) is required. If the reading goes well, the full play will be produced!

Logline for “The Three Seductions of Etienne”:

A wealthy dedicated gay couple’s 10th anniversary house-party takes some unexpected turns involving sex and

violence; resulting in far-reaching effects on the people

involved.

THE CHARACTERS

DARRYN WEST

The masculine, and stocky-built, charismatic lover of Tom Stone. He is successful, handsome, and confident. Darryn is fiercely dedicated to his lover. Also, he is co-host of the party (and co-owner of the home wherein the party takes place). Age is 40.

TOM STONE

The normally quiet, effeminate, attractive love counterpart to Darryn West. They have been a committed couple for ten years. Tom became lovers with Darryn before he was successful. So far, their relationship has been a storybook one. Age is 30.

ETIENNE

The newest addition to this close group of friends. Etienne is a tall, slim, the youngest, single, effeminate, exotically attractive (of undetermined origin, yet presumed to be at least partially French due to his name), and slim young man. He is a sexual animal. Age is 21.

FRANK

A slightly too drunk, aging, extra swishy, single guest who yearns for the kind of relationship that Darryn and Tom have. He is the oldest person in the story. Age is 59.

ROBERT

A slightly masculine, single, man. Age is 45.                                                        

GRANT 

Performer. Lover of Darius. Age is 18.

DARIUS

Performer. Lover of Grant. Age is 18.
