Weather and rain always play havoc with outdoor shoots, but when Disney is involved it gets even more interesting.

We were fortunate enough to have a host from the Disney Channel act in our film. The day he showed up on our cliffside scene in the mountains it was a beautiful sunny morning. We could almost see the cartoon butterflies surrounding him. His scenes were scheduled first so he finished and left early. It then immediately started raining, huge drops, one of those famous surprise Australian storms which forced us to cancel the rest of the day. It happened again the next week. He finished his scenes, left, and then it started raining. Not a drop of rain on him.

We now assume Disney has signed a deal with the clouds that: it must be sunny at all times around their actors.
