I was thinking about all of of these talented people on this Indie site with the same thing in mind. Everyone wants to be successful in the film business. The studios ignore you because they are afraid of liability. Agents are usually under financed and want only people that have deals already to go. Everyone really paranoid about liability.

SOO, I say, "Why have Indie Producers, Indie Writers and the Indie list goes on, not come together in some way to utilize each others assets. SOO, we can all succeed in our field of endeavor that we love. SOO, I am willing to do something to contribute, how about you. I have a friend that's a guild director that would help out. I know distributors that will listen and have ad money and distribution for right deals. Producers that can help with making the train run. I own scripts I'll put in a deal. Somebody say something, I'm sure you fresh talents have the same or better resources.

I only have part of a deal. Let's all get together and make a 100% deal. I'm open. This is like the TV show, "LET'S MAKE A DEAL" - GO!

Sam. I like your concept of networking with producers interested in financing and distribution. I read your Business Plan. My associate (Ted Fekula, Action Adventure Associates) and I (Keith Warn, Ibex Productions) are interested in setting up networking like you are trying to set up. We can communicate with you via e-mail, and we can meet with Jeff Gold since we live in Southern California. And, we can meet if you ever get out here in the LA area. Ted has a Meetup group on Film Financing that Jeff Gold can attend if Nuevo, California, (1 1/2 hours from Marina Del Rey) is not too far for him.

Please check out Ibex Productions at www.ibexmovies.com, photos of my "Sorority Girls' Revenge" movie at www.imdbpro.com, and some of our screenplays at www.blockbusterscripts.com.

Thank you. Keith Warn kwarn@ibexmovies.com

Hi Sam,

I have three romantic comedy scripts in the works. The first, about pop/rock musicians, is almost done. If you have any interest in this genre, please contact me. Genie Chow at geniemyo@earthlink.net.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'd be willing to help with promotions and PR. I also have scripts, but I thought you were looking for tech help as well.
Hi,

I've just emailed you. I'm really looking forward to the concept. I live in Belgium(Europe) and can be of great use in overseas productions.

Keep me up to date,

Good Evening Sam:

I just joined IndieProducer.net tonight. I have spent most of the night reading all the posts here, and yours really caught my attention. I like your concept of things. I will read your business plan doc. in the morning as it is late here and I've already been pushing some long hours now as it is.

However, I have listed below a pet project of my own that I would like to see to fruition. I have been working on this project for just a little over two years now. I believe you can understand where I am coming from. And like everyone else, I would very much like to get funding for my projects as well.

As you'll notice below, this is no ordinary project that can be done with one script. This is in 7 scripts (each one leads into the next) and it still doesn't end at the end of the 7th script!

Who knows, maybe we can be of beneficial significance to each other somewhere down the line... maybe if enough of us got together, we could mutually help each other's bottom line increase tremendously.

Have a good night, and I look forward to talking with you again.

THE BLACK RIDERS

Logline:

Sci-fi: A drifter with amnesia discovers he once fought Alien invaders back in time of the Old West and that his destiny is linked with an upcoming final battle for Earth.

Synopsis/Treatment:

Sci-fi of epic proportions. Seven scripts written, the last one setting up a possible
weekly sci-fi television series. Unique combination of elements: sci-fi/action/adventure, time travel, Western motif

Concept Summary:

John Severen, a drifter, who lost his memory, takes a job for a trucking company that he discovers is run by ex-Black Ops personnel and has been delivering extraterrestrial creatures, Reptilian Dracos, in cryogenic containers. Aliens attack him and some other truckers, during which John almost turns on his friends after apparently being under some kind of mind control, which he fights off at the last moment. John pieces his past together, realizing that, when he was a young boy, he was a member of a group of eight gifted children, the Montauk Kids, who, under the facilitation of the government, would meld their minds together and send themselves into the past, the Old West, as cowboy riders to defend that world against alien invaders.

He eventually teams up with the other seven, now thirty years later, to fight off an alien armada that is headed towards Earth, guided by the aliens who are already here. As he prepares for the invasion, helped by a secret group, John discovers that the aliens abducted him when he was a boy. As he tried to help the other seven children escape them, he was captured, implanted with a microchip that controlled his mind, and his blood was mixed with alien DNA, which allows him to change his form into that of the Reptilian-Draco alien, an ability that he intends to use against those that are invading and are already here and who damaged his life in such a profound way. What John doesn't know is that there are two more Black Riders, his brothers, who share the same fate that had been thrust upon him, as well as a common heritage and destiny, which has lead them all to come together to fight for the survival of Earth.
