Life Story Rights??

I am interested in securing an option on a certain person's life story rights. This person is presently alive and kicking. Can anyone give me some guidlines on compensation etc. - I am attempting to secure a free option for one year with a possible extension for 6 months and agree upon a payment when I execute the option. Normally life rights are 10% of the budget.
I have written 10 bio pic scripts so I am aware of the problems
